As of January 2023, the IAHPC had 984 members. Of those, 892 are individuals, and 92 are institutions. Together, they represent 108 countries.
Another 7,200 people worldwide subscribe to the IAHPC monthly newsletter.
Below, you can see a breakdown of IAHPC’s income. We were able to keep within the 2022 budget which is quite an accomplishment given the difficulties that many are facing. Most of the funds we collect are allocated to mission driven programs and projects in advocacy, research, education and communications.
Volunteers play a major role in the IAHPC. Our Advocacy Focal Points press for change regionally, nationally, and internationally, and IAHPC’s courses on the assessment and management of pain and other symptoms were possible thanks to the teachers’ generous volunteering of their time and expertise.
