IAHPC Reduces Membership Fees through May 2020
Dear IAHPC Friend,
We hope that you, your loved ones, and your colleagues are doing well and keeping safe.
As coronavirus spreads all over the world, we continue to commit to our vision of a world free from health-related suffering. Although palliative care can’t stop the pandemic, it can provide ethical guidance and alleviate much of the associated physical, psycho-social and spiritual distress for patients with COVID-19.
In solidarity and to provide support, the IAHPC has implemented several benefits to support the global palliative care community and our members:
- We have reduced the IAHPC membership fee by 20% until the end of May 2020 across all membership categories. If your membership is still current, the renewal will extend your membership for the duration that matches your payment. If your membership has expired, we invite you to renew through our website. Join or renew your IAHPC membership online.
- IAHPC has partnered with our sister organizations, the Worldwide Hospice Palliative Care Alliance, the International Children’s Palliative Care Network, and Palliative Care in Humanitarian Aid Situations and Emergencies to develop a series of briefing notes and webinars for providers, governments, palliative care associations, and direct stakeholders to address the needs of palliative care patients during this pandemic. The first webinar of the series started last week and will continue every Friday (times vary depending on your location) Please keep your eyes open for the next one!
- The IAHPC built a new webpage with links to resources on COVID-19 and Palliative Care, consistent with our mission to serve as a platform to disseminate evidence based, useful information to the global palliative care community.
We are grateful for your work and dedication to palliative care and hope that you consider renewing or joining the IAHPC to support our mission driven programs and our goal to alleviate suffering around the world.

Sincerely,
The IAHPC team.
