The IAHPC will have a booth at two congresses in March where you can learn about the important work we do, share your experiences, make connections, get your questions answered, and save 20% on your membership!
IAHPC will attend the XI Congress of the Latin American Association for Palliative Care (ALCP) from March 6-9 in Cartagena, Colombia. We are proud to support the ALCP in this congress and grateful for the free space they are providing in exchange for IAHPC Traveling Scholarships that we provided to six individuals from the region. Reports from these scholars will be in a future edition of Pallinews.
In attendance at our ALCP booth:
IAHPC Finance Officer Lina Rozo
IAHPC volunteer Ana Restrepo, whose presence has been instrumental at our booth at previous conferences.
The IAHPC will also attend the Annual Assembly of the Hospice and Palliative Medicine (AAHPM) from March 20-23 in Phoenix, Arizona, USA.
IAHPC has been selected as a recipient of the 2024 Presidential Citations, along with the Carter Family and the Hospice Medical Director Certification Board. The IAHPC was selected because “IAHPC has been a remarkable resource for the global hospice and palliative care community, providing international advocacy, education, research, and dissemination of information. IAHPC continues to be a critical organization for growing access to hospice and palliative care throughout the world.”
We are deeply honored, and grateful to the AAHPM for selecting IAHPC for this award. Many thanks to AAHPC President Dr. Holly Yang and the board for this recognition!
In attendance at our AAHPN booth:
IAHPC Membership Benefits Coordinator Debra Pledger-Fonte, who will accept the award on behalf of the IAHPC.
Others, including volunteers and members, are expected to drop by.
Don’t be shy! We would love to meet you.
