Palliative care professionals working in Africa are invited to register for a free, 25-hour course, “Consultant in Global Assessment and Monitoring of National Palliative Care Development.” Sessions of the course will be held throughout 2024.
This pilot course designed by Atlantes Global Observatory teaches how to “use the indicators to evaluation the situation in their countries” based on the World Health Organization’s series of guides. The course “offers practical advice on integrating palliative care into health systems.”
This five-module course is taught through videos and documentation, and concludes with a questionnaire that assesses the participant’s country. Those who complete the course are accredited with 1 ECTS (European Credit Transfer System) and are rewarded with a one-year IAHPC membership.
