Welcome to the July issue of the IAHPC newsletter.
We are delighted that as from today, Dr. Katherine Pettus, IAHPC Advocacy Officer for Human Rights and Palliative Care, will be contributing monthly to the newsletter. Do check out Katherine’s latest advocacy news on the Policy and Advocacy page. Prof. Julia Downing, a member of the IAHPC board of directors, is our guest writer this month and gives her personal highlights from the 2nd International Conference of the International Children’s Palliative Care Network held in May in Buenos Aires. And there’s also a bumper spread of reports and comments from some of the IAHPC Traveling Scholars who presented posters and orals at the VIII Congress of the Latin American Association for Palliative Care in Mexico City. Read how they plan to adapt some of the learning from the congress to their own settings.
As always, our very grateful thanks to everyone who has contributed to this issue of the newsletter.
All good wishes
