Welcome to the March edition of the IAHPC Newsletter. Next week, on 8 March, it’s International Women's Day, a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. We’d like to honor the achievements of women across the globe who are involved in palliative and end-of-life care and we present four of them in this month’s Featured Article. Dr. Katherine Pettus presents recent IAHPC policy and advocacy activities; our Traveling Scholar is Dr. Christian Ntizimira who writes about his work in Rwanda and there’s our usual spread of reviews and abstracts from the latest literature.
It’s been another busy month for all of us involved in the newsletter and my very grateful thanks to all who have contributed.
All good wishes,
Avril Jackson
