Editor’s corner

In the wake of all the good and encouraging news shared by Liliana and Lukas, I welcome you to the July issue of the IAHPC Newsletter. Writing in our Policy and Advocacy column, Dr Katherine Pettus has been as busy as ever traveling the world to maintain a high advocacy profile for IAHPC – and this time has the cake to prove it! Our featured article this month comes from Professor David Clark whose End of Life Care Studies Group is examining how responses to end of life issues are developing around the world. Our Traveling Scholars this month come from Egypt, Kenya and Uganda; there’s an invitation from Moonshine Movies to help you celebrate World Hospice and Palliative Care Day with their ‘Little Stars’, and a great selection of book reviews, abstracts, announcements and resources.

Many thanks to everyone who has contributed to this issue.

Regards,

Avril Jackson
Senior Editor
