Welcome to the June edition of the IAHPC Newsletter.
IAHPC Board members regularly contribute to our newsletter and this month we’re delighted to welcome Dr. Eric Krakauer, who gives a photographic commentary on his recent visit to Kerala. Memory artist, Nancy Gershman, describes her artist-in-residency at First Moscow Hospice in Russia and two of our Traveling Scholars, Irena Laska from Albania and Dr. André F. J. Santos from Brazil, share what they learned, and how they contributed to the 14th EAPC World Congress in Copenhagen. In our Global Palliative Care Community Highlights column, Professor Max Watson from Northern Ireland Hospice visits Uruguay and Dr. D.K.D. Mathew, President of the Palliative Care Association of Sri Lanka, talks about plans and priorities for the association. And, as always, we bring you some insightful reviews and abstracts from our regular contributors, Dr. Roger Woodruff and Barry Ashpole.
