Call for abstracts for The International Palliative Care Network Conference 2015 – deadline for submissions 15 July 2015

The International Palliative Care Network hosts its 2015 online conference, under the auspices of the European Association for Palliative Care, on the Palliative Care Network site. We encourage submissions relating to all aspects of Palliative Care from all fields of Palliative Care. Click here for submission guidelines.

3^rd Australian Palliative Care Research Colloquium – 22–23 October 2015, Melbourne, Australia. Call for abstracts for posters closes 31 July

The Colloquium will bring together clinicians and researchers from all disciplines that have an interest in palliative care or related fields.

Highlights include:

• A keynote presentation by Professor Phillip Larkin (President of the European Association for Palliative Care) entitled, ‘Research Collaboration: It sounds nice, but how do we make it happen?
• A ‘Breakfast Forum’ that will focus on transitioning research projects from completion to implementation; the challenges of recruiting in palliative care; and a ‘meet the experts’ panel discussion. This session can be attended in isolation or combined with the Colloquium.
• A broad variety of plenary session topics, including session on: Mixed methods research, Ethical dilemmas in palliative care research and a workshop on Engaging consumers in palliative care research.

5^th International Seminar of the PRC and EAPC RN – 15-16 October 2015, Leeds, UK. Call for abstracts and early bird registration close 31 July

The International Seminars of the European Palliative Care Research Centre and the European Association for Palliative Care Research Network complement the World Research Congress of the EAPC. The seminar will focus on research projects in the planning, initiation, and closing phases; primarily conducted within the PRC and EAPC RN. Each seminar will also have a regional focus.
