Editor’s corner

Welcome to the February issue of the IAHPC Newsletter. At the click of a mouse you will travel from Melbourne to Kerala! In our Policy column, as Liliana and Lukas have mentioned above, you can see how the ATOME project has contributed to improved access to opioids in participating countries. Julia Downing reflects on some of the key issues discussed at the UICC World Cancer Congress in Melbourne, and from Kerala, Alakananda P.M., a student volunteer, tells the story of a remarkable conference on youth involvement in palliative care. And, as always, there are plenty of reviews, resources and opportunities.

Many thanks to all our contributors who always go the extra mile, on top of a busy working day, to bring us such rich and exciting content.

Regards,
Avril Jackson
Senior Editor
