How was this meeting/activity helpful to you?

There were three main takeaways for me : 1. value of Advanced Care Plan, 2. How to communicate with terminally ill patients, and 3. Geriatric palliative care. I attended "A Biomarkers in palliative medicine" session was very interesting for me.

How will you new knowledge & acquired skills help in furthering your work in hospice and palliative care in your program/city/ or country?

I am planning to organize training for nurses and conference for doctors. The main topic are communication with terminally ill patients
and ACP discussion with patient and caregivers.
I am going to conduct some research project regarding biomarkers in palliative medicine (especially CACS) and prepare that
information for publication.
It was great opportunity to meet experts in person. I met Professor Lukas Radbruch whose online Pain Management trainings I
participated last year.

How IAHPC Traveling Scholars Program be improved in order to help other future traveling scholars?

Everything was wonderful. Again Thank you very much for this support and opportunity to increase my knowledge and find colleagues,
friends who do their best to improve palliative care.
