How was this meeting/activity helpful to you?

It was a great opportunity to meet once again- face to face- the Latin american pediatric palliative care community, share experiences
and challenges and be inspired by lecturers and participants in general

How will you new knowledge & acquired skills help in furthering your work in hospice and palliative care in your program/city/ or country?

Particularly 2 issues touched me deeply : "managing complexity" by Marisa Martin (Spain), and the threatenings that pharmaceutical
industry involvement means in health care political decisions all over the world, showed by Liliana de Lima. Both issues will be part of
my areas of study, deepening and teaching in the different levels of education that my Pediatric Palliative Care team is in charge in
Uruguay. Particularly the PPC interdisciplinary Postgraduate Diploma.

How IAHPC Traveling Scholars Program be improved in order to help other future traveling scholars?
