Shrenik Ostwal, DR

Travel date: February 11, 2022

Name of Meeting/Event/Activity: 29th International Conference of Indian Association for Palliative Care

Origin: Howrah, India / Destination: Jaipur, India

How was this meeting/activity helpful to you?

Being able to attend the program helped me gain a new perspective about many topics I have been practicing. I gained new knowledge through this meeting.

How will you new knowledge & acquired skills help in furthering your work in hospice and palliative care in your program/city/ or country?

Better understanding of concepts and advocacy plans will help me establish and improvise palliative care department at my current tertiary hospital and in few medical colleges. Experience from conference will strengthen my confidence and collaboration with eminent faculties in the field.

How IAHPC Traveling Scholars Program be improved in order to help other future traveling scholars?

I would rather request IAHPC to organize international level quiz and activity patterns (like student exchange programs, scholarships for clinical observer ships) to exchange knowledge and experience in palliative care.
