How was this meeting/activity helpful to you?

I am Patricia Bonilla, Venezuelan, thanks to the IAHPC scholarship, I had the opportunity to attend the IX congress of palliative care in Santiago de Chile, and of this form participate as a moderator in the workshop of researchers and at the symposia of palliative care in vulnerable populations and the importance of primary care in palliative care. In addition to learning from the experience of so many Latin American professionals. It allowed me to strengthen ties with different groups and to know not only different forms of work, but also charming groups and people. It was an enriching experience and will allow us to continue strengthening palliative care. Definitely the IAHPC, remains the most solid organization in palliative care worldwide. A thousand thanks for this wonderful opportunity

How will you new knowledge & acquired skills help in furthering your work in hospice and palliative care in your program/city/ or country?

I am currently working in a medical university, which will allow me with much of the knowledge acquired, improve undergraduate education, in addition to sensitize the community of the importance of palliative care and incorporate palliative care in the first level of care.

How IAHPC Traveling Scholars Program be improved in order to help other future traveling scholars?

Consider that the scholarship in the current conditions is very efficient because it allows us to support people who have difficulties in attending these important events
