How was this meeting/activity helpful to you?

Well, in the first place the presentations were very innovative and interesting, they presented justified information with recent research, especially for the management of symptoms. In addition, the oral presentations of the research papers were very well structured and I had the opportunity to make very good contacts that could help me to develop my abilities in palliative care.

How will you new knowledge & acquired skills help in furthering your work in hospice and palliative care in your program/city/ or country?

I learned many innovative techniques and management that are being carried out worldwide for symptoms of difficult management. I also learned new terms that are being used in palliative care and that identifying them helps to give an integral management of the patient

How IAHPC Traveling Scholars Program be improved in order to help other future traveling scholars?

Well, I think that the IAHPC should promote more the Traveling scholarship, because I didn´t know about it until another scholarship told me. But in general, it was very helpful for all of us that had the opportunity and won the traveling scholarship, because a lot of us provide of a very poor country and this is the king of help that is really beneficial for the health personal.
