Description
Canadian Virtual Hospice is a national online knowledge management centre on advanced illness, palliative and end-of-life care, loss and grief. It provides information and interactive support to people living with advanced illness, their families, health providers, educators and researchers. Virtual Hospice is supported by an interdisciplinary team of clinical experts. The site covers a spectrum of topics; content is evidence-based, regularly reviewed, updated and expanded by the clinical team. An Ask a Professional service is available to Canadians only. However, the Asked and Answered section provides anonymized questions with the team's answers. Professionally moderated Discussion Forums (open to all) provide peer-to-peer support for people living with illness, their families and friends.Region
