Description
Academic and assistance program, inpatient and outpatient, whose objective is the development of disciplines related to palliative care. We are a multiprofessional team that seeks to promote communication, encourage the autonomy of the patient, alleviate pain and suffering as well as other physical and psychological symptoms during the course of an advanced disease. The Program relies on the participation of a coordinated interdisciplinary team - composed of physicians, nurses, psychologists and kinesiologists - who work at different levels of care: hospital, outpatient and home care. Likewise, we are a team highly trained to work with both oncologic and non-oncologic patients.Region
