Description
The National Cancer Institute is a third level decentralized organization, under the Ministry of Health, which provides specialized medical care to cancer patients and is also a reference center and governing body for cancer in Mexico.
The INCan coordinates the development of the National Cancer Control Program (PNCC) which includes five central themes: Prevention and Early Detection of Cancer, Oncological guidelines for the 10 most frequent neoplasias in Mexico, Palliative Care Medical Infrastructure and Medical Services Administration and Smoking Control.
