Hospice of the West

Description
Hospice is a comprehensive program of care - combining medical, emotional, and spiritual support - offered to patients and families facing a life-threatening illness. The key to hospice is comfort of the mind, body and spirit. Hospice emphasizes palliative care - pain relief and symptom control - that focuses on improving the quality of life for the patient. Beyond direct patient care, hospice also provides support and bereavement counseling for families, helping them through this difficult time. We deliver individualized hospice care 24 hours a day, seven days a week, in any setting - private homes, assisted living facilities, and long-term care facilities. Our program compliments and enhances the care the patient is receiving.
