African Palliative Care Association (APCA)

Description

Founded in 2003, to help support and promote the development of palliative care and palliative care professionals throughout Africa. Its mission is to promote and support affordable and culturally appropriate palliative care across Africa. Through its work in education, standards, advocacy, partnerships and mentoring, research, and monitoring and evaluation, it advocates a public health approach to palliative care provision, working to promote quality and extend coverage of palliative care across the continent.
