Description
Blessed Gerard's Hospice cares for the sick and dying through training, home based care, day care and inpatient care.We accommodate patients temporarily and provide Hospice and palliative care through our 40-bed inpatient unit. Our inpatient unit has now nine wards, including a paediatric ward, a mother-and-child ward and a high care ward. We train and send out mobile home-nursing teams, who supplement and support the family's home based care through hands-on-training and additional aids in the home situation of the respective patient. Runs an AIDS treatment programme (HAART).
