Clínica Familia is a modern 40-bed care unit located in the southeastern area of Santiago in the La Florida district. The clinic is staffed by a group of professionals, assistants and volunteers. The system has 100 permanent volunteers for outpatient care, who provide services primarily to patients and their families, inserted in their communities. Since 2000 the Clinic has been receiving incurable patients, regardless of diagnosis, especially cancer and AIDS patients.Region
