Tawam Hospital - Oncology/Palliative Care Department
Description
The first and only comprehensive government funded palliative care program in the UAE was established in Tawam hospital in 2007 as a consultation service and was developed into a complete division within the oncology department providing outpatient clinics and inpatient consultations with a dedicated inpatient unit.Part of the SEHA network, Tawam Hospital serves as a regional referral center for specialized medical care and a national referral center for oncology services. Enhanced and expanded oncology services, including in hematology, radiology and palliative care.
