At Kathmandu Cancer Center our palliative care medical team focuses on the patient’s overall well-being rather than just a treatment for disease. We seek to improve quality of life by focusing on a person’s physical, emotional, spiritual and existential needs. We treat the patient, not just the disease. Our palliative care unit is lead by Dr Bikash Anand, who is the first and only doctor in Nepal with MD degree in Palliative Medicine.Region
