Hospices of Hope - UK

Description

Our vision is for all patients suffering from terminal or life-limiting illness to receive specialist hospice care so that they can live and die with dignity and without pain. Our strategy is to increase access to free hospice care so that everyone suffering from terminal or life-limiting illness in South East Europe receives specialist end of life care when they need it. We do this by working with our country partners in Romania and Serbia and directly through our own charities in Moldova and Albania. We provide funding to our country partners but we cannot achieve full access to hospice care simply through finance. So we also provide advocacy, technical expertise and training and work with governments and other agencies to develop national strategies for end of life care.
