Description
The Geriatrics and Palliative Care Program proposes humanized management at the end of life for oncologic and non-oncologic patients with terminal COPD, liver cirrhosis, renal failure, chronic neurological diseases and terminal dementia. The main objective is to control symptoms resulting from non-reversible diseases or side effects of treatments, prevent suffering and improve quality of life. This includes an integral approach model: physical, emotional, spiritual and ethical.Region
