JCHO Tokyo Shinjuku Medical Center - Department of Palliative Care Unit
Description
For those who have difficulty in treating the cancer itself, we support them so that they can relieve various symptoms such as pain and spend a calm time. To that end, not only doctors and nurses, but also pharmacists, nutritionists, and medical social workers form a team to provide care. We also provide short-term hospitalization to ease the burden of nursing the family. If you wish to receive medical treatment at home, after alleviating the symptoms, prepare a system for home medical treatment and return to your home. The palliative care unit has a garden and a family waiting room where families can stay. In addition, our hospital is accredited as a training facility of the Japanese Palliative Medicine Society. Have been certified to the provisions of the Japan Hospice Palliative Care Association, "certification system related to quality improvement efforts in palliative care ward."
