Hospital Universitario Puerta del Mar - Unidad de Cuidados Paliativos y Transicionales
Description
The Puerta del Mar University Hospital is a hospital complex managed by the Andalusian Health Service. The Palliative Care Unit (Unidad de Cuidados Paliativos - UCP) is dedicated to the care of oncology patients of any origin and it is expected to be able to attend non-oncology patients when the Andalusian Palliative Care Plan is implemented. The hospital PCU coordinates with Primary Care, the Emergency Department of the Puerta del Mar University Hospital and the Home Palliative Care Unit. The professional group of the PCU also attends transitional care patients from Intensive Care in a new and larger physical space.Region
