ČSPM is the main bearer of expertise in palliative medicine in the Czech Republic. It defines and supports the national policy of palliative medicine development in the Czech Republic, develops and carries out the education of specialists in palliative treatment and care, and participates in national and international research projects. The Czech Society of Palliative Medicine offers the latest up-to-date information on the state, development and standardized procedures of palliative treatment and care in the Czech Republic to both professionals and state, international and non-governmental organizations (ministries, insurance companies, other professional societies, etc.).Region
