St. Joseph Mercy Ann Arbor Hospital is a 537-bed teaching hospital located on a 340 acre campus in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Our Cancer Centers provide a variety of support services for patients and their families. Through our healing bereavement services program, St. Joseph Mercy Home Care and Hospice helps families and community members who are grieving the loss of a loved one. St. Joseph Mercy Home Care and Hospice grief support groups are held throughout southeast Michigan. Each professionally-led series runs for five weeks. Support group members learn how to: Understand how grief affects them physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Cope with difficult emotions like anger, guilt, depression and loneliness
Receive and give support, understanding and friendship to themselves and others. Take steps to reconcile with grief, and grow because of it.
