Palliative Care Providers(Home care,psychological support for patients and care givers,educational programms for pain management and palliative care,co-operation with all the pain and palliative care centers all over Greece ,supporting them).We are a Non Goverment Organization with doctors nurses psychologists specialized in palliative care. Founded in November 1997 from pioneer anesthetists specializing in the treatment of pain in palliative care. The vision of the team was the implementation in Greece of the holistic approach to the management of patients with terminal diseases.
Today our company has more than 550 members. These include health professionals (doctors, nurses, psychologists, social workers, physiotherapists etc.), Volunteers of various specialties specialized mainly in the treatment of chronic pain and palliative care and many health professionals with an interest in these areas. At twenty years of social science and our presence among others took action to: Training, informing, offer free home care by a specialized team, writing guidelines, creation of the first and unique patient registry for Chronic Neuropathic Pain, cooperation and support to patients' associations
