Hospis Melaka

Description

Hospis Melaka is a non-governmental, not-for-profit organization run by voluntary medical doctors, nurses, paramedics and lay volunteers. Since its inception in 1994, we have been providing hospice care services free-of-charge to the terminally-ill cancer patients in the state of Melaka through our Hospice-At-Home program. This program entails visitation to the patients homes by our dedicated team to provide nursing and comfort care, medical advice, emotional support to the patients and family, loan of medical equipment and provide relevant information and education. This is a holistic program sanctioned by the Ministry of Health Malaysia and regulated by the Malaysian Hospice Council. Our objective is to improve the quality of life of the patients and family during their final journey of life. Though we can't give "days to their lives, we can give life to their days".
