Rachel House Foundation

Description

The first pediatric palliative care service in Indonesia. Established in 2006, it provides home-based palliative care service for children from marginalized communities living with life-threatening conditions such as cancer and HIV at free of charge. As part of its efforts to help build a palliative care ecosystem in Indonesia, Rachel House regularly conducts palliative care training for health professionals and allied health workers, as well as empowering and reinforcing the local community's capacity through education and the mobilization of a community-based palliative care program.
