Learning objectives 1 To promote in carers a humanistic vision and comprehensive training on the current palliative possibilities to improve the well-being of the chronically ill and at the end of life and to detect in time the help they need and to support their family and the work of the carers.
To offer a Comprhensive vision of the different palliative care possibilities to keep and improve the quality of life and dignity of the patients, give support to the families and promote self-care of the carers.
Learning objectives 2 To provide carers with the basics of patient-centered palliative care to promote good understanding and develop communication skills to detect the patient's needs and be able to respond appropriately to the changes brought about by the disease.
Learning objectives 3 Promote education of health care workers on the different effects of the disease in order to provide appropriate care and support to the patient and family.
Description The program will be based on a 100% online methodology with webinars. The theoretical part will be combined with clinical cases, bibliography, selected videos, slides and forums with tutors to provide attendees with a comprehensive holistic training. It consists of 10 modules with 90 teaching units and their evaluations. SEAFORMEC credits have been requested.
