Description The Palliative and Supportive Medicine teams at Nemours/Alfred I Nemours Children’s Hospital, Delaware and ChristianaCare Health System , in affiliation with Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University , are offering a 1-year clinical fellowship to train physicians in either pediatric or adult Hospice and Palliative Medicine. In this fellowship, you will develop an expertise in the prevention and management of suffering amongst patients (and their caregivers) who are facing serious illness. Graduates will satisfy requirements for board certification in Hospice and Palliative Medicine. The program is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) for two trainees beyond the third postgraduate year (PGY 3) level and can accommodate candidates completing residencies in pediatrics, family medicine, internal medicine and pediatrics (med/peds), internal medicine or subspecialty fellowships at the appropriate PGY level.
