Description | The Waco Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship aims to develop fellows who care for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients with a variety of medical, cultural, religious, and socioeconomic backgrounds. This care is provided in a variety of settings, including inpatient, outpatient, nursing home, and patients’ homes to provide comprehensive assessment and management of patients’ suffering and quality of life, including physical, functional, social, psychological, spiritual, and cognitive domains. One year, ACGME-approved fellowship. Emphasis on graduates of primary care residencies—family medicine, internal medicine, and pediatrics. |
