Learning objectives 1 Fellows will experience a stimulating mixture of education, mentorship, clinical training, and scholarship.
Learning objectives 2 To participate in a variety of electives in both the inpatient and outpatient settings that can be tailored to individual interests and future career plans.
Learning objectives 3 They will participate in a wide range of settings, from inpatient hospice units to patient homes to simulation centers to art museums.
Description Accredited in 2019, the FAU Hospice & Palliative Medicine Fellowship is designed to be flexible based upon learner needs and interests while training all fellows to be superb and well-balanced clinicians, scholars, teachers, patient advocates, and leaders. The goal of our ACGME-approved program is to educate fellows to provide impeccable and humanistic palliative care to a diverse population while also promoting the principles of palliative care through leadership, teaching, and scholarly work.
