How We Collect and Use Information

We collect the following types of information about you:

Information you provide us directly

We ask for certain information such as your name, address, phone number and e-mail address when you register as an IAHPC member, as an IAHPC donor, or if you correspond with us through the IAHPC website. We use this information to operate and maintain our records and to provide you with the services and goods that you requested.

If you donate, your name, (unless you wish to remain anonymous) will be published in the IAHPC Newsletter and other publications. In addition, in its annual filing, the IAHPC provides the list of donors to the IRS as required by law.

If you join IAHPC as a member, your name, your photo (if you agree to submit one) and the country you live in, will be published in the IAHPC website, the IAHPC Newsletter, and other IAHPC publications.

Information you provide to process membership fees and/or donations, including but not limited to, credit card number, expiration date, and security codes, are collected by a third party (Stripe). The IAHPC does not collect, nor store any credit card information from our members and donors.

Information we may receive from third parties

We may receive information about hospices/palliative care providers from third parties. This information may include, but is not limited to, name, email address and address.

Cookies information

When you visit the IAHPC website, your browser may send one or more cookies that uniquely identifies your browser and helps you log in faster and enhance your navigation through the IAHPC website as well as other websites linked through the IAHPC website. The cookies, information collected and passed on to others is collected by your browser and not by the IAHPC. Children’s Privacy

Many children around the world have serious health related suffering and require palliative care. The IAHPC website and its content includes information about palliative care provision for all patients, including children. However, IAHPC does not knowingly collect or solicit any information from anyone under the age of 18.
