The National Hospice Palliative Care Council of the Philippines (NHPCCP) was inaugurated in Manila on Tuesday 17 February, 2004 with 16 organization members and 80 individual members. The formation of NHPCCP has been the dream of Dr Josefina Magno, founder of International Hospice Institution (former organization of IAHPC)
