Briefly explain how this meeting/activity was helpful to you: Is was a wonderful experience because I have to coordinate all the Pre-Congress day, and I can saw many of Pediatric Palliative Care Specialist of Latin America, and also we can talk to different people who want to begin to work in pediatric area. I can learn about many topics in Palliative Care and also this promove inside to me the need of beging more projects with other hospitals and specialists.

How will you new knowledge & acquired skills help in furthering your work in hospice and palliative care in your program/city/ or country?

This experience give the force to be more active in the politics and the education in Palliative care not only in my hospital but also in my country.

How IAHPC Traveling Scholars Program be improved in order to help other future traveling scholars?

Is importan establish relations between persons who want to grown and learn more, but they not have all the economical support to do it. Always when you put together a people who have resources and a people who want to work more bigger, you have a good experience and can be part of something more bigger. Is not only to grown one country or one person, is about to grown all of us. -The world is one, not a little space i9 more big, and if we can see the opportunity to help and when we find a right people, all of us part of the miracle of walk ahead. Thank you again for the oportunity.

Narrative summary highlighting the needs and challanges you face

Is difficult the access to all medical service, the hospitals also need the access to opioids and palliative care services but when the barriers come from the persons who decide the laws is difficult to fight. When you put toghether a person who want to work but not have all the resourses and a person who want to help, meaby you can see a real miracle. All of us have something to teach does no matter if you not have a lot of resources, and all of us have something to learn, is not only my way, sometimes we see many right ways to give comfort to the patients.
