The activity has renewed my passion and dedication in what I am presently doing as a palliative care provider doing home care for patients in Greater Manila areas. I gained knowledge and learned different approaches / in ovations in Palliative Care that are being practiced by other institutions and can apply them in our setting.
Being the Assistant Medical Director of Activcare Home Health Solutions Inc. I can incorporate in the training program for our Palliative Care Nurses and Home Health Aides the updates that I gained in the conference. I ca also adopt some of the innovations in the practice of Palliative Care that were presented in the conference to our setting to expand the services that our copay is presenting providing. And also begin part of the Technical Working group of the Department of Health, I would share my learning in the development of National Policy and Guidelines in Palliative and Hospice Care in the country.
The whole process of apply for the IAHPC Traveling Scholarship had been very welcoming and convenient for those people interested to apply. It was not complicated and takings. People from low to middle income countries like me had been given opportunities to attend this kind of activity and is very useful to our practice. Thanks to IAHPC and we hope you would continue to provide scholarships such as this
