How was this meeting/activity helpful to you?

This research congress was very useful in shaping my idea into concepts. I met a lot of people doing good research in field of Palliative care in western world. Many research work were very important in using it in clinical practice. Oral presentation were very informative.

How will you new knowledge & acquired skills help in furthering your work in hospice and palliative care in your program/city/ or country?

I am currently working on a project of Early palliative care in Head and Neck cancers, most prevalent cancer in India. I attended presentation by Dr Zimmerman and Dr Hannon. Both were very useful for me. Many other presentation were also good and need to be updated in our clinical practice. Palliative care in European countries is well developed, same need to be developed in our country. Need of quality research is of foremost important in evidence based medicine. I will definitely work in better research work in field of Palliative care in our institution.
