How was this meeting/activity helpful to you?

I was amazing event for me; I knew many people with the same problems that I have in my hospital. I learnt distinct point of view about palliative care; I knew fantastic personalities as Drs Rogopall And Cristian, from Ruanda. I was in Primary care meetings and I thought how many things could be better in my country. For me, it was a second European congress and I will do my self until my retirement to go at all. It is a kind of gift to my mind, refresh my expectative and bring me a kind of support to new ideas even my boss does not support me. In the end, the sure that I need improve my English or have more psychologist consults because I was confused in my mind about how language speak… - Spanish, English or Portuguese’s.

How will you new knowledge & acquired skills help in furthering your work in hospice and palliative care in your program/city/ or country?

I have been studied about spirituality. In this event, I saw 2 experiences with mindfulness and would to like see the pet´s therapy with volunteers, but I could not. . Nowadays I study hard the mindful so, when I realized this issue are important to EAPC, I was secure that could be my path. Second point was when I was in primary care; there I found a MD from Chile that I knew. There, we talked as could be very important to Latin American primary care. So, we probably will organize the committee of primary care in Latin American Palliative care. It will be amazing and was EAPC products!

How IAHPC Traveling Scholars Program be improved in order to help other future traveling scholars?

Well, more advertising; help more than one author in the same paper ( trip alone it is difficult sometimes), even if less fee; show more papers/jobs; motivations about master and PhD – I am looking for a pos PhD and there – EAPC – I could not talked about this my desire ( because of time indeed)
