Editor’s Notes

I would like to thank the IAHPC Board members listed below who contributed articles to this newsletter during the past year. Your contributions provided a grass-roots perspective of the accomplishments and challenges of palliative care as it is practiced in your regions - it was most welcome. I would also like to thank our colleagues from around the world who also contributed in many ways to this publication.

I hope that our newsletter provides a balance of information useful to a diverse audience of hospice/palliative care workers who are dedicated to making a difference for those with life limiting illnesses and their families. I welcome your comments and contributions as we provide a snapshot of the global effort in progress.
