Gaston Hospice

Description
Since 1981 it has been the mission and great privilege of Gaston Hospice to provide a unique form of healthcare for terminally ill people in Gaston County, North Carolina, USA.

Gaston Hospice believes that no one should die alone or in pain, that patients and their families should be prepared for death as much as possible, and that our organization can respond to a person's physical, social, psychological and spiritual needs as they define those needs.

Gaston Hospice is affiliated with CaroMont Health Care and is accredited by ACHC and a member of the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization and the Carolinas Center for Hospice and End of Life Care.

The New Hope Counseling Center for Grief and Loss is a division of Gaston Hospice. The Center is available to anyone who is coping with a life-threatening illness, who has a family member or firend facing a life-threatening illness, or who has lost a loved one to any cause of death. Counselors are licensed professinals with master's level education and experience in clinical counseling.
