Description
Msunduzi Hospice provides home based care free of charge. This care is provided by a team of professional nurses, staff nurses, social workers and trained care givers and it is provided within the home of the patient. Msunduzi Hospice care is supportive care. We do not provide 24 hour live in care. Our trained staff will visit as per the schedule and will provide support to the patient and to the family/household with regards to the care the patient needs. This supportive care will focus on some of the following aspects: pain control, symptom control, treatment support, education (with regards to the illness).Region
