International Neuropalliative Care Society (INPCS)

Description
The overarching purpose of the International Neuropalliative Care Society (INPCS) is to foster the growth of this field by creating a community. Our mission is to raise standards of care for all people affected by neurologic illness. Activities of INPCS include building professional networks, supporting research, developing educational materials and opportunities, creating guidelines for clinical practice, and advocacy. We recognize “people affected by neurologic illness” to include persons living with these disorders, their families and the healthcare providers involved in their care. INPCS differs from special interest groups within other societies in being solely focused on the promotion of neuropalliative care.
