Description

In Hungary, hospice-based care appeared in 1991 with the establishment of the Hungarian Hospice Foundation led by Alaine Polcz. In accordance with the spirit of the international hospice movement, we deal with the alleviation of the physical and mental suffering of patients who can only be treated symptomatically, and who are incurable, especially cancer, with humane treatment as the primary goal. Our goal is to achieve the best possible quality of life, physical and mental activity, and to help relatives bear the burdens of illness and mourning by reducing the pains and symptoms of patients, alleviating their mental suffering.
