Description
Bruyère Continuing Care is affiliated with the University of Ottawa and other universities and colleges. These relationships have been further solidified through our expansion in applied research at the Bruyère Research Institute. Our bilingual palliative care unit at the Élisabeth Bruyère Hospital provides care to patients and families requiring in-hospital care. Patients may be admitted for a short period of time to manage difficult pain and symptoms, and will be discharged once these needs are met. Other patients may be admitted for care at the end-of-life when their care needs cannot be met in other settings.Region
