Palliative Care by Garwita
Description
Since the beginning of 2016, Palliative Care by Garwita has been conducted intensively at Baladhika Husada Hospital (DKT Hospital), Jember, East Java, Indonesia. This is a collaboration between The Chemotherapy Unit of DKT Hospital and Garwita Institute, Jember. Our palliative care focuses on psychosocial care for patients and their families, especially cancer patients. For now, there are more than one hundred patients actively involve in our activities. We have six programs to help them adapt to their illnesses and strive for their recovery: Palliative Ambassador Development, Palliative Support Group, Patients Gathering, Palliative Health Trip, Home Visit, and Community Health Counseling.Region
